This and the following video are showing an itinerary across the
Valle Intelvi, one of the most beautiful but not famous area, set
between the lakes Ceresio and Lario. Mostly of the visited villages are
fatherland of artists and painters of international fame such as Benedetto Antelami, Andrea Bregno, Ercole Ferrata,
the brothers Carloni, the De Aglio, the Scotti and many other that from XIV
to XIX century diffused Italian art in Europe and Russia. These artists
coming back home restored at their expenses village's churches in the
same style they had built, decorated or frescoed the Cathedral in
Austria, Poland, Czech Republic etc. So, art lovers can find many
talented jewels scattered all along the itinerary. Even if you are a nature lover or a common
tourist you can enjoy this little paradise.

beautiful places of Valle Intelvi as well as we join in the especial Schignano
Carnival. During the celebrations people wear wooden handcraft masks and dress
unusual costumes. The people so disguised are called "Mascarùn" and
they can belong to the " BEI" (beautiful) or "Brút"
(ugly) group.

This is a very interesting itinerary that can be standalone made.
During medieval times many battles has been fought between emperor and
pope armies to conquer Como town and surrounding region. In the XII
century the only island of the lake, "Isola Comacina", was set
to fire and totally destroyed with its churches and houses. Besides, we
visit one of last monument enrolled in the Unesco world heritage list: The
Holy Mount of Ossuccio and the cathedral. Historians and common tourists
can enjoy many archaeological findings during this journey. And...

This video is
intended as a tribute to the life that is reborn every year giving us
all of the new stimulus to continue in our daily life. The idea of a
video based on only images and sounds is the result of a few days to
wander with the camera as the only friend. A path to the ideas and
thoughts are alternated daily emotion game of light and colour.
Aimlessly, following only the sun and the spring breeze that came from
finally lowered the car window, we have moved along a short path in the
Park of Ticino between agglomerations and rural areas in the hinterland
of Pavia, where man and nature partly living in their own essence.
